UK entrants NOTPLA one of five winners of Earthshot Awards.
UK entrants NOTPLA were announced as one of the five winners of the prestigious Earthshot Awards, on Friday. This was the second year of the Awards which were instigated by Prince William to fund projects created to save the planet. NOTPLA were winners of the Build A Waste Free World Category with their natural bio degradable seaweed alternative to plastic. The five winners, based in Kenya, India, Australia, UK and Oman will each receive £1m to develop their innovation.
